Creating Cheap Wind Power

While out surfing the net today, I came across 2 videos on youtube that really caught my eye. Both are of VAWT (Vertical Axis Wind Turbine) setups. One is made from a plastic drum like you see for most any liquid. All the parts (less generator) to create this are less than $100 dollars.
