Incentives to use renewable fuels

     I think that the reason many people don’t seriously consider renewable fuel sources like wind or solar for their everyday needs is because most people still think of it as some far off fantasy. At the time of this writing, there is a story on the news about the International Space Station and the repair of a torn solar sail/panel. I have no doubt that the last 2-3 days of this new story running on CNN is the most some people in this country have heard of solar power ever, and this is what they equate solar power too..something the astronauts use.

Lately, with oil prices going up, people are looking for alternative sources of energy for their lives. The first place most start is the home. Today’s renewable market provides many cost effective methods to power your home, your personal gadgets, your vehicle..etc. And apparently the manufacturers of solar power equipment, personal, residential and even commercial, have suddenly figured out that being able to produce power and be pleasing to the eye.

Now state and local governments as well as utility companies are going even further by providing incentives to use alternative energy equipment. Every state has something to offer, many of them have multiple offers that can either provide quite an allowance towards initial purchase and/or monthly credits for usage of wind, water, sun, bio energay producing equipment.
